On the way to drop Elijah off at school this morning the topic somehow came to angels:
Miles: I've seen a girl angel before.
Me: Was she pretty?
Miles: um-hmmm
Me: Where did you see her?
Miles: in heaven
Me: what did she say?
Miles: that she had good news for all of us...
and then the roughness of the morning seemed to ease up immediately.

I think children have special insight to the workings of the spiritual realm. I will never forget when Mary Katherine was three and she told me that she saw and he was smiling at her. I asked her when and she said "when I was in heaven". I asked her which pawpaw and she said,"Nanny's pawpaw"...that was my grandfather, who died of a massive heart attack six weeks before we found out we were expecting Mary Katherine! Oh to have the eyes of a child befor the Lord! Be Blessed!
